Implementing the National Broadband Plan: Perspectives from Government, Industry and Consumers. Feb. 24, 2010

Description: An estimated 10 million Americans have little or no access to the Internet and are cut off from its benefits. The FCC has recently released an ambitious plan to extend broadband service to every corner of the country while significantly boosting the speed of information delivered. This daylong symposium, held at Wiley Rein LLP, brought together experts from government, the telecom industry and other sectors to discuss what how the government's new broadband plan should be implemented. The conference was organized by the Columbus School of Law's CommLaw Conspectus: Journal of Communications Law & Policy and the Institute for Communications Law Studies, in cooperation with the Federal Communications Bar Association.
